First - we hope you have a great Thanksgiving this year! Enjoy the time with friends and family and be safe and warm. Also, we're happy to announce that Cook Forest Online is now offering scenic prints and posters of Cook Forest. We've got 6 different scenes available right now, and will be adding more, in either 8x10 or 16x20 sizes suitable for framing. These would make great Christmas gifts for those who love Cook Forest. There's a link right on our home page to online ordering. Also, we've got a new sponsor on-board with us - Black River Rentals. You can find their entry in our Business Directory.

News - September 7, 2005 - MS Bike Ride Announcement
The National MS Bike Tour Comes to Cook Forest! Have fun in the great outdoors and help end the devastating effects of MS. Participate in the 2005 MS Cook Forest River Ride Bike Tour on Saturday, September 17th 2005 and help the Allegheny District Chapter of the National MS Society raise funds for the 4,900 local residents living with MS. The Cook Forest River Ride is a one-day bike tour that takes cyclists on a gently rolling 40-mile loop along the Clarion River highlighting the beauty of Clarion County's Cook Forest State Park.  It's a fun, fitness filled day for cyclists of all levels.  It's a family friendly ride - no one is required to pedal the entire 40 miles. Prizes will be awarded for money raised, and rest stops will provide refreshments. Despite last year's visit from Hurricane Ivan, which left the River Road under water, we were still able to raise $29,000. We hope for better weather and a larger turnout this year! Special events coordinator Joel Halapin is particularly excited about this year's tour. "If a person only rides in one bike tour all year, ours is the one in which to participate...the volunteers will make sure you have an absolutely awesome ride, understand a little more about MS, and you will feel totally exceptional by the time you finish the tour." For more information on the MS 150 Bike Tour, call Joel Halapin at 412-261-6347 or visit http://www.cookforest.com/msbiketour/
